"Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God-- this is your spiritual act of worship." (Romans 12:1)

Welcome to FBCM's Disaster Relief Home Page

Here is where you can find the latest information about Disaster Relief; who are we, what we do, and why we do what we do. This site includes pictures from previous disaster relief events as well as information on Disaster Relief Training in the local area. Links to the Tennessee Baptist Convention's Disaster Relief site are available as well. Our goal is that you will be able to use this site to understand the Disaster Relief ministry of FBC Morristown and possibly join us in this unique and effective opportunity for ministry.

Greetings Everyone

There is a lot going on with the Nolachucky Baptist Association DR & BB teams. Here is a short recap:

Virginia Mobile Home Project let by Larry Burnett is now complete. The Hileman family is overwhelmed with the love shown by those who labored and gave financially to assist them in their great hour of need.
The Del Rio Bridge Project is now underway. This project led by Don Rhoades of Hillcrest Baptist will include more than 10 tons of steel, 13 yards of concrete, a tremendous amount of welding and cutting of steel, not to mention an untold number of man hours to complete. If you are interested in helping just report to the shop at 1732 W. First North St.
Driveway and Handicap Ramp under construction on E. Hillcrest St. This project led by Earl Creasey and gang is now formed and ready to pour concrete
Details Drawing for the WMU Missionary Home Project  received this week. This project sponsored and led by the TBC WMU is to build a missionary home in Mt. Juliet Tenn. (near Nashville). Our Nolachucky Baptist Builders teams have committed to frame and put under roof this house after the block have been laid. This too will be a huge undertaking so please consider how you might support this effort. The Crew Chiefs will be Brian Collins and Bill Sartain.
BGR Training-This event just completed this past Saturday had 65 people in attendance and they are now ready and qualified to serve wherever our SBC missionaries minister worldwide.

This is only a few of the 50 projects started since January 1 of this year. To see the complete list click on this link: Nolachucky Work Order Files - 2013
